thanks, ron. agreed on all fronts. it is a great rose, but i have not bought a bottle since as it has become cost prohibitive, especially for a rose. if i liked the varietal more, i may have bitten the bullet and bought a couple more bottles, but as is, probably won't. that said, this truly is the best bottle of rose i have ever tasted.

The Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé is indeed superb, even for folks who ordinarily don't like rosé. It's dry and delicious and versatile. It's great before dinner or for merely sipping on a sunny afternoon. It pairs nicely with most any Mediterranean dish and, surprisingly enough, with pork as well.
However, sad to say, this wonderful wine has now been fully discovered and demand has soared to the point that it is now overpriced. I mean, a rosé by any name is still a rosé, meaning a wine that should NOT be priced above $35 a bottle, tops.
As for the person wondering how to get the é in rosé, be advised that if you have a PC, you only need hold down the Alt key while typing the numbers 0233 on the number keypad on the right of your keyboard.
