As with last year's review of the list, this post is the kickoff and to give you a peak at the wines included (see the graphic below). So, tune in over the next few weeks to get my ratings on the wines and, if you'd like, go out and get some of the wines for yourself, so you can follow along and we can chat about what you like and don't like.

I tried the Santa Julia Bonarda for around $8. I love this varietal but this particular wine was almost undrinkable. Not corked, just not that good. We each had half a glass and then tossed the wine.
bummer. will be interesting to see what i think about it. thanks for letting me know. just starting to dive into the wines.
Big fan of the El Coto - clean, medium body and smooth! Great for all the foods around the table this time of year. We served that up at Barcelona Wine Bar and it was one of my favorites!

thanks kronickwino. i have not gotten into the reds yet, but plan to here in the the next week or so. looking forward to tasting the el coto.
